We’ve recently implemented Paystack on our website, to take care of recurring payments for hosting and domain names. Hosting is a monthly recurring payment and a domain name, a yearly recurring payment.
As 99% of our clients do have webshops – the ecommerce side of things – we’d like to suggest switching to Paystack. Paystack offers payments with debit cards, credit cards, OZOW for EFT, Snapscan and Masterpass. It comes with a popup window, or checkout page if you prefer, on your website. Included, this screenshot below of the popup which should bring users some form of security, not to be redirected to another page:
Paystack has a very quick turnaround time – we were approved and ready to go within 24 hours after applying. It was a no-nonsense approach. Simply have your documents ready and upload it via their steps.
The Paystack pricing structure for payouts, is also excellent at this stage:
2.9% + ZAR 1ex VAT
At this stage, the above is for both local and international payments. This compares very well with local payment gateways as well as international payment gateways. See their pricing page here: Paystack – Pricing.
The advantages of saving on payments and payout time is very good, and also the recurring payments ability to handle multiple subscriptions or recurring payments at a time. Furthermore, if you have products or services where you allow split payments, it can also be done.
All in all we find Paystack a refreshing alternative to the methods we’ve used up until now. It has a very smooth integration, and we haven’t noticed any errors on payments, at all.
